Braedon Holt — Outbound Email Infrastructure Engineer

I'm Braedon.
I build and protect outbound email infrastructure.

I come from Fortune 5 infrastructure — the kind of environment where systems don't get to be "mostly working." Now I apply that discipline to outbound email: the domains, mailboxes, authentication, and warmup behind SDR and AI-agent sending. One senior engineer, direct access, no agency markup. If your outbound isn't reaching inboxes — or hasn't launched yet — I can tell you exactly what it needs.

How engagements work

Audit first. You'll know exactly what's broken — or missing — before you spend a dollar on ongoing work.

1

Outbound Infrastructure Audit

$1,500–$2,500
One-time · every engagement starts here

I map your entire sending estate: domain architecture, SPF/DKIM/DMARC on every domain, mailbox provisioning, sequencer configuration, list quality process, and reputation standing across Google Postmaster, SNDS, and the major blocklists.

Deliverable: a findings report and a prioritized build plan — specific enough that you could hand it to another engineer.

2

Outbound Infrastructure Buildout

$5,000–$10,000
One-time · productized

Secondary sending domains registered and isolated from your root. Mailboxes provisioned to your SDR count and volume targets. Authentication enforced from day one. 14–30 day warmup orchestration. Sequencer configured — Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, or lemlist. Monitoring stack wired up.

Deliverable: working infrastructure plus a runbook your team keeps — every domain, record, and setting documented.

3

Managed Deliverability Retainer

$3,500–$4,500/mo
Monthly · bounded scope

I own deliverability so your team owns pipeline: continuous reputation and placement monitoring, incident response for blocklistings and placement drops, new domain and mailbox provisioning as you scale, warmup management, and a monthly report with send-volume guidance.

Not included (scoped separately): ESP migrations, net-new channel builds, email copywriting, and list acquisition strategy.

Deliverability already broken?

The second door. When email is going to spam right now, diagnosis and recovery come before anything else.

$1,500–$3,000
One-time

Deliverability Forensics

For persistent, unclear, or revenue-impacting spam placement. Deep mailbox-provider analysis, sending pattern modeling, blocklist root-cause work, and a recovery roadmap with timelines.

$2,000–$5,000
One-time

Reputation Recovery & Inbox Repair

Blocklisted or spam-foldered? Root-cause analysis, delisting (Spamhaus, Barracuda, SORBS, SpamCop), sending pattern restructuring, and gradual recovery with placement verification.

How I've Helped

Real results from real engagements. Numbers, not promises.

18% → 47%
open rate in 6 weeks

Ecommerce brand with domain reputation damage from a misconfigured subdomain leaking into their transactional stream.

4 days
Spamhaus blacklist removed

SaaS company on SendGrid, blacklisted due to shared IP contamination. Isolated the source, filed delisting, and rebuilt their sending architecture.

62% → 94%
inbox placement

Newsletter with 200K subscribers after enforcing DMARC p=reject and restructuring their sending patterns.

Why a solo engineer instead of an agency?

You work directly with the person doing the engineering — no account managers, no handoffs, no junior staff learning on your domains.

Transparent engineering, not agency markup: you see every domain, record, and setting, and you keep the runbook.

Fortune 5 infrastructure background applied to outbound email — monitoring, redundancy, and incident response as defaults, not add-ons.

Common Questions

Why does every engagement start with an audit?

Because pricing infrastructure work without seeing the infrastructure is guessing. The audit tells both of us exactly what's broken or missing, and the build plan it produces is yours either way — you can implement it yourself, hand it to your team, or have me build it.

We haven't started sending yet. Do we still need the audit?

Yes, and it's faster and cheaper that way. Pre-launch audits cover your domain strategy, provider choices, volume math, and compliance posture before anything burns. Building right the first time costs a fraction of recovering a damaged domain.

Do you work with AI SDR tools?

Yes. Deliverability for AI agents — 11x, Artisan, AiSDR, and agents built on Instantly or Smartlead APIs — is a core part of my practice. Higher volume plus machine-generated content is exactly the combination spam filters are best at catching in 2026, and the infrastructure has to account for it.

What if my deliverability is already broken?

That's the second door: Deliverability Forensics for diagnosis, Reputation Recovery if we find damage. I've recovered blocklisted senders in days, not months. If you're not sure which path you need, book the call and I'll tell you.

How fast can you start?

Most engagements start within a week of the initial call. If something is actively on fire — blocklisting, sudden spam placement — I hold priority slots for urgent cases.

What's bounded about the retainer scope?

The retainer covers monitoring, reputation management, incident response, warmup, and new domain provisioning. ESP migrations, building new channels, copywriting, and list strategy are scoped as separate projects — so the retainer price never quietly absorbs work it was not designed for.
